About the MediSplit Program
A smarter way to make your eye drops last longer.
The MediSplit Program is a partnership between MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions (part of your health insurance plan) and Nanodropper designed to help eligible members get more from every bottle of eye drops. Through the program, you'll receive a complimentary Nanodropper adaptor with each eligible prescription refill, allowing each bottle to last significantly longer while delivering the same effective dose of medication.
By reducing unnecessary waste, the MediSplit Program helps decrease medication costs, reduce refill frequency, and improve the overall treatment experience, all at no additional cost to eligible members. Because the Nanodropper extends the life of each bottle, your refill schedule is adjusted to match your medication usage, ensuring you continue receiving the medication you need while reducing waste.

About Nanodropper
Your Volume-Reducing Adaptor
Nanodropper is an FDA-listed, clinically validated sterile medical device that attaches to the top of your eye drop bottle and reduces drop size to only what the eye can actually absorb.
Here's the key insight: the human eye can only absorb about 8 microliters of fluid at a time. Standard eye drops deliver 30–50 microliters per drop, meaning most of each drop runs off your eye, wasted. Nanodropper delivers a micro-sized drop, delivering the effective dose of your medication without any of the extra waste. In addition to the financial savings, smaller drops have been clinically proven to improve treatment and reduce side effects.

What is the MediSplit Program?
The MediSplit Program is a partnership between MedOne and Nanodropper that helps eligible members get more from every bottle of eye drops. You'll receive a free Nanodropper adaptor with each eligible refill to help your medication last longer.
Who is eligible?
The MediSplit Program is currently available for employer sponsored health plans utilizing MedOne as their pharmacy benefit manager. MedOne members who have been prescribed an elligible eye drop medications are automatically enrolled and receive a complimentary Nanodropper with each eligible refill. If you're unsure whether your medication qualifies, please contact the MediSplit support team for assistance.
Why is my refill schedule changing?
The Nanodropper helps each bottle last up to 3× longer. Because your medication lasts longer, your refill schedule has been adjusted to match. This helps reduce cost while ensuring you continue receiving the medication you need.
Will I still receive the same dose of medication?
Yes. Although each drop is smaller, it still delivers the effective dose of your medication. The Nanodropper has been clinically validated to provide the same therapeutic effect while reducing wasted medication.
Do I need a new Nanodropper for every bottle?
Yes. The Nanodropper is a sterile, single-bottle-use medical device. Use one adaptor per bottle and discard it when the bottle is empty. A new Nanodropper will be sent to you for each eligible refill.
Is the Nanodropper free?
Yes. Eligible MedOne members enrolled in the MediSplit Program receive a complimentary Nanodropper adaptor with each eligible prescription refill.
Do I have to complete the surveys?
Yes. The Pre-Use Survey is required before using your first Nanodropper, and a follow-up survey will be sent after you've used two bottles with the Nanodropper. Your feedback helps MedOne and Nanodropper improve the program and measure its impact. Survey completion is required for continued enrollment.
How long does the training take?
The required training video is about 8 minutes long and shows you how to properly install and use your Nanodropper.
